[2]           Lara Croft is presumably a fictional character, that came to the public’s attention in 1996.

Though she was a celebrity at the time and a household name, by now people under 50 would probably not have heard of her.

Croft was famed for her wild adventures, which were depicted in computer games and movies.

Toby Gard (b. 1972, UK) is an English computer game designer who got the credit for creating Lara Croft as a fictional female British archaeologist.

Lara Croft is mentioned at the Guinness Book of World Records for being the "most successful human video game heroine." Legend is that due to a programming mistake she is well endowed.

Should she be a Role-Model?

Xaviera Hollander

("The Happy Hooker" and dozen more books):

We've been friends  for almost half a century and enjoyed several of each others' theatrical productions, so reading your memoir of Mrs. Gulliver is a wonderful surprise: so witty, subversive, and yet, arousing... it tickled my mind as well as inspired my G-spot. Highly recommended!
