[6]          The front page of the first edition of 'Gulliver's Travels', printed for Benj. Motte, at the Middle Temple-Gate, in Fleet Street.

It was drawn by his wife, Mary Burton-Gulliver since, by that time, Gulliver was so mad, he didn't allow anyone else to see him. Note that she was about 50 years old when she discovered her drawing talents!

Why do you find this unbelievable?

Xaviera Hollander

("The Happy Hooker" and dozen more books):

We've been friends  for almost half a century and enjoyed several of each others' theatrical productions, so reading your memoir of Mrs. Gulliver is a wonderful surprise: so witty, subversive, and yet, arousing... it tickled my mind as well as inspired my G-spot. Highly recommended!
