[41] This is a citation from the Bible, Book of Judges 14:14.

 

      Samson killed a lion. When he came back later “and, behold, there was a swarm of bees in the body of the lion, and honey.”

 

      Samson penned this expression, “Out of the strong came forth sweetness” to annoy the Philistines, and eventually to kill as many of them as possible.
